    Posted: 19 November 2007 at 12:15pm

I gave a group rights to upload documents and images and installed an Upload Component.

But in the "add image" window, i can only select one uploaded image and not upload an image.

What else do I have to do, to make an upload available?

You can upload images from two locations.

In the Add Image window you should have an option at the bottom of the window.

The other way is through the 'Member Control Panel' under 'File Manager' where the user can manage their uploaded files and images and also upload new files and images.

None of the two ways are possible.

i don't have a menu called "file manager" under "member control panel" and i don't have the option ins the "add image window"

edit: is there a global variable that has to be set?

Log into the admin area, and under 'Upload Settings' page make sure that you have selected the group your member account is enabled to upload files and images in the Web Wiz Forums system.

Are you running the free Express Edition?

If so you will not have upload features, these are only available in the Premium Edition.

The license agreement for the free Express Edition also prohibits you from modifying the source code in the software.

We also have hosted solutions of the Premium Edition, which can work out much cheaper as they start from 4.99 per month and include SQL Server for the database backend.

All the setup and installation of Web Wiz Forums Premium Edition is also included for free.

Just click on Web Hosting from the main web site for more information.
