I have a very busy forum running a paid for version 9 of the WebWiz forum software. There are nearly 40K posts in the system and 25K private messages.

It has been customised quite a bit in both appearance and what some of the links do (eg the Profile viewer links to the user's profile on the main site). Also It has been designed to work with the main site's registration system.

What is the best way to upgrade?

Reasons for wanting to upgrade:
1. I think the database is probably not optimised in terms of indexes etc and adding new messages to a thread takes noticeable seconds to save
2. I'm sure there's new features I could use

Thanks

Derek
