Make sure you are also connecting to the correct database and you have not changed the table prefix 'tbl' to something different as the error suggests that the tables can not be found in the database.

I just talked to support for my host, and it seems like the new DB is 2005, while the ver8 DB is 2000. They are about to fix that. I'll try again and I will let you know....txn...

Quick question. After I get this error is DB unchanged or did the tool make some changes that I do not know about?
Tech support for my server made a copy of a DB and I tried to run the update tool on it again, but no luck. I do not remmember making any changes to the original DB (tables etc.), so what can be a problem?

i belive some work has been done on the system what amount is not clear, you are best to revert back to an old backed up copy done before anything was done on the upgrade tool.
failing that, please feel free to email my sales team (sales {at} emaginehosts {dot} com for a quote "$20" and one of my techs or me can help ypou though the upgrade as i alone have done some. also feel free to contact me via MSN if required.
