I was trying to setup www.tarrantcountyvoad.org. as a forum and the
upload documents function is not working. It is called aspSmartUpload
but that company no longer has their upload product available. I changed
the upload from www.aspsmart.com upload to a different company that was
available on the list the forum provided. Do we have to download the
upload software to the FTP server?

Also, we changed the Profile information area from location to
organization. Where can we change the countries listed in the drop down?

We would also like to change the ICQ number to email address. How can we
do that?

Finally, we messed up the security code somehow in the process. Any way
to fix it?

- For the upload component, ask your web host which upload components they support or is installed on their server, and then select the proper one in the admin area of your forum.

- The countries list can be changed by editing the file: includes\select_countries_list.asp

- Why change ICQ to email? The user has the option to show their email address in a previous option on their profile... if they choose to show it other members will be able to see it.

- If you messed up the security code then you need to re-upload the files.

Also, why are you installing 7.9 and where did you get 7.9 from?

7.9 is about 5 years old now and is not secure, a vulnerability in this version could let a hacker deface your entire site if compromised, you should download and install the latest version 9.04.
