Hello again,

Let me explain exactly what is going on.
I am using AspSmartUpload as the upload tool in my forum.
The disc where my domain is settled is formatted NTFS.
My webserver is Windows 2003 Webedition, IIS 6.0. ASP, Frontpage Extensions.
I can' t upload images anymore.
But what i have done is register a new user and let him do the image upload.
And again I get the following error:But..........

Server object error 'ASP 0178 : 80070005'

Server.CreateObject Access Error

/Forum/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 288

The call to Server.CreateObject failed while checking permissions. Access is denied to this object.

This seems to be a question of putting the rights correctly.
But to my surprise the upload does something: it creates a directory within the /images/uploads directory with the name of the registered user, but the directory is emty instead of having the file uploaded and renamed it like something 2004-10-11_194331_BootUrk.jpg

What is happening here. I gave the so cold Internet Guest Account wright rights.
I do not know what i am doing wrong.

Please help!  Again (-:

The folder is created as the FSO object does this and is sepporate to the upload component.

Your problem is a permissions problem to do with the VBscript runtime file.

A quick search on google for Server.CreateObject Access Error turned up the following Microsoft article on this permssions issue:-
