A member has uploaded a picture 41kb in size, jpg format. It displays fine in the preview panel, but won't when in a post, just shows a cross in a small square.
What are we doing wrong? As admin I can see the preview in his file manager, but can't display it either.

Have a look to see if the path to the image is correct in the post

Yes, there is a problem with the path.
The image is listed as B&G.jpg, but in the path it comes up as B&ampG.jpg
 
Where are the three extra letters coming from? Don't know where he uploaded it from either, but probably a change of title would help here?
 
Is it that the & is being seen as a different character?

The & is written as & in HTML. So it is converting it either for security or valid html.

As you say, renaming the file would fix it.
