We're running v9.69 having upgraded from an earlier version (8.05a iirc)
 
We have a user whose login name is AnDyC... if a user makes a forum post just typing andyc the message is being converted from andyc -> AnDyC
 
Whilst this is clever and a nice touch... we have a problem insomuchas this user often posts hyerlinks such as http://thisdomain.com/andyc/whatever.htm
 
This is being converted to http://thisdomain.com/AnDyC/whatever.htm - which isbreaking his web server's links (it obviously differentiates between upper and lower case urls for some reason)....
 
Any way to enable/disable this - or perhaps the script thats doing this format checks its not modifying a url?
 
I know the web server is a linux box but he doesnt have full access to see if its an apache or similar setting that he can overwrite!

There is nothing on the code that would do this. The only explanation is that the member is posting it themselves like this. Maybe some sort of spell checker in their browser is doing it.
