V7.7: Massmail works but not notify

I installed V7.7 and the massmail is working, so I trust the
mailserver set up is done correctly.

However, when testing the notify me function, i do not get any
mails. The Notify settings are below.

What did escape me?

Any hint is highly apreciated. Thank you in advance.

Email Notify Allows users to receive notification of replies to their posts or new posts in forums.	On < = value=True name=userNotify>   Off < = value=False name=userNotify>
Send Post with E-mail Notification Allow the full message that has been posted in the forum to be sent with the email notification.	On < = value=True name=sendPost>   Off < = value=False name=sendPost>
Email Activation of Membership If you enable this new members will be sent an email containing a link that they will need to click on to activate their forum membership.	On < = value=True name=mailActvate>   Off < = value=False name=mailActvate>
Built in Email Client The built in email client allows members to send emails to other forum members directly from the forum, as long as both parties have a valid email address in their profile.	On < = value=True name=client>   Off < = value=False name=client>

It looks like this maybe a bug as others have reported this.

You'll have to wait for the next version for a bug fix.

Right finally tracked down the problem. The application variable at line 338 of the file common.asp has the wrong name:-

Change line 338 of the file common.asp from:-

Application("strIncomingMailServer") = strOutgoingMailServer

To:-

Application("strOutgoingMailServer") = strOutgoingMailServer

This meant that the SMTP server name was not being loaded into the forum and so the email was not sent.
