High im looking at getting version 9.08 just wondering if my moderators can read my forum members private messages and if i can as an admin. Cheers thanks for any replies

Take a Look at this.. it might help you out.. but I would have to agree with Bruce I would not recommend monitoring Private Messages.. as it infringes on Security... and you are avoiding the who thing as a "Private Message"

This time last year I recall a very popular forum with between 100 and 200 active users. Rumours spread on that forum that the admin maybe reading Private Messages.

Even though I tried to assure users that web wiz forums did not allow anyone but the recipient reading the private message, it was to late the damage was done and most users left to start up their own forum.

Private Messages are just indeed that - Private
No admin or moderators or any other member can read anyone elses private messages, otherwise would be the point of calling them Private Messages? Wink
