Visual Intedev Configuration Problem!

well, i'm going to use Visual Interdev for deployinh and maintaining my web project. But I'm facing problem when configuring it.

1.) my appplication is hosting at hosting company, in the Visual Intervdec web project wizard, what should i put on the required text : what server do you want to use?

I'm using access, so don't have SQL server is installed.

Please advice!

If I'm understanding you correctly you should just type in the URL of where your site's domain is located.  Make sure that your hosting company uses FrontPage Extensions.

I did try it before, it failed to connect, and saying that it is unable to connected to "domain name."

I want it connect locally, so try to put localhost, also failed to connect.

When I congifure it in PWS win98 with SQL server installed, it has no problem.

hi,

with the Front Page extension installed, now it can be connected alredi. But I still confused,  I ever configure it without the server extensiob installed, but with SQL server installed. May I know why????

 

Does it works only have Front Page extension Installed????????
