Web Wiz Forums v10 Licensing Questions

When you install or upgrade Web Wiz Forums version 10 and wish to unlock the additional features found in the Premium Edition you will need to enter a valid version 10 license.

Upgrade Policy
The purchase of any Web Wiz product includes our free, 1 year (12 months) upgrade protection. Customers who purchase Web Wiz software are eligible for a free major version upgrade if that release occurs within 12 months of their original purchase date. Remember, minor version releases (for example, from version 1.1 to version 1.2) are free for all Web Wiz customers. Customers are able to extend Upgrade Protection on products in 12 month blocks at up to 80% off the original purchase price through their Client Area Account.

Customers who purchase Web Wiz products during 2005 which explicitly came with Lifetime Upgrade Protection are eligible for free major and minor version upgrades for the life of the product.

Why Are Upgrades Not Free
We get allot of people who want to know why they can not have free upgrades for life, as they have already bought a previous version. The answer to that is that years of development time goes in to writing updates and these development costs need to be covered. Without payments for upgrades then future development and updates would simply stop.
