There have been several discussions on "integrating" CP logins and the
forum logins; however, the login methods are quite different with
respect to encryption. Plus, to -borg- and CP (at least when Zivan had
it) there are usually fairly frequent updates to both apps. This
presents a problem for "integration" depending on the revisions.
One thought that I had was to actually combine the registration forms
of both into one form. At submission the appropriate information is
sent to each app. Also, a single login form would send the needed email
address / pass to CP and send the username / pass to WWG and cookies
set. This wouldn't be an exact "integration" but would provide a single
login point that may be easier to revision for new releases of both.
Also, I do know that
www.palapps.com is working on a CMS system, but I think he may be working on a storefront and integrated forum, but don't quote me on that.
