Sure it is a big deal copying other peoples work and stamping your name on it.  I get pissed off when people do it to me, just because the copier doesnt mind it doesnt mean to author doesnt.  Always respect the authors work, they did it, they spent the hours, then you get some people who just copy and paste, and stick their name on it.

If its not a big deal why do we have copyright laws

Allright, for the last time....I am not saying nor ever said that copying is ok. I am saying that taking ideas from others is common and not bad, ideas means how to do something and general design ideas. The comment I made above did not imply it is OK to copy, it implies for people to stop complaining about things like "but he did it too" that is childish. If someone is not able to bring some own ideas to a project and copies it all, I think that's wrong.

DJ Air, as far as it goes, the new look is much better than some of the previous stuff.

There isn't too much originality out there anyways. And all good web design COPIES or IMITATES what is out there that WORKS. And if it "is" original, and still is half-decent, then it's already been done a million times anyways. i.e. All decent web sites have top or left navigation (rtl excepted) and that navigation is done with HTML and NOT Flash or javascript. Flash navigation is about the most moronic thing you can possibly do in a web site.

Oooops.... I'm starting to rant, aren't I?

Cheers
