	an easier way that i use to set connection strings is... dim conn set conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection") conn.provider = "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" conn.open "c:\mydatabase.mdb" this is a little bit less cryptic than connection strings
