If I was selling routers for home networking, I'd check out PC Magazine for their Editors Choices.

Also look at the home networking packages offered by the big ISP's in your area. - e.g. The local Telco in my area offers a home network DSL package but the routers and modems are almost full list price, so people whith enough knowledge to know what a router is buy it elsewhere - same for the cable TV company.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

I use the Linksys 802.11b wireless router (can't remember the model #)

Why?

I bought it when there was no wireless G.  I actually don't even need Wireless G, as I have my 2 desktop PC's wired to the network.  My laptop works fine with wireless B.  I never really swap files wirelessly anyway.  I do listen to music from my server desktop pc though...never had a hangup with that or watching video from it wirelessly.
