	hello i need a code for count how many charecters a client write in a text editor, same as in the profile signatur in wwf. thanks ahead, Yossi Motiey.

	Not sure if this can be easily done as behind the scenes is allot of HTML that would also be counted.

	Couldn't you remove the mark up from the string before the count in the function?

	You could but I wouldn't guess it would be 100% accurate, also to create such a javascript function for the RTE would be quite a complex task and would require quite sometime and a good knowledge of Javascript.
