when i worked for PCServiceCall (the dixons and freeserve
customer service centre) i had some great, well not so great phone
calls.
i recieved phone calls at 2.30 in the morning from people complaining
their PC wasn't worknig correctly.. turning out they were drunk and
getting their TV confused with their PC.
other notable calls include..
Me: Hello, PC Service Call.. how can i help?
Customer: i'm trying to turn off my computer. the screen went blank and
now it says 'it is now safe to turn off your computer'.. shoulds i turn
it off?
Me: No! you must leave it for 30 min or you may damage it.
Customer: Really? oh.. ok.. thanx
Me: Hello, PC Service Call.. how can i help?
Customer: i am trying to install this program. and it says i should click next to continue. i'm not sure what to do?
Me: click next.
Customer: you mean the little square that says next on it?
Me: yes.
customer: thankyou! it worked.
and they were paying £1 a min at the time.

i can't remember most of the stuff anymore.. it was about 4-5 years ago..
