I'm currently designing a site for my boss and I am having trouble getting it to display properly.

Each time I access the page from my home computer I start with the location page in the main frame instead of "new_page_3.htm"

This does not happen on the work computer which is running win98, I am running winxp at home.

it works fine from my end, you might want to try refreshing the page, as it sounds like a temporary internet files issue.

Nope, each time I refresh I still go back to the location page, I have even tried deleting my history.

Also is there are way that each time somebody goes back to the site it forces there browser to check if the page has been updated and if so refresh with the new page.

If you are running XP it can be very stubborn to update it's cache. Delete it manually in IE and it should be good, or just give it some random query string so it updates it thinking it's new content/

CTRL+F5 should work with nothing else needed - it is an explicit command to reload the page from the web server. The command is ipconfig /flushdns --> typo above... just in case...

FYI: with AOL's browser it can store a cached version of a web page indefinitely, you have to go into the options and turn it off specifically.

Thanks for all your help guys but I think you miss my point.

I want to fix the problem using the webpage because I think if it can happen to me then it could happen to others as well.
