I want to fix the problem using the webpage because I think if it can happen to me then it could happen to others as well.

If we are missing your point, then maybe you should restate your question, or maybe post a link to the website you are dealing with...

Yeah, but... You can use Tools > Internet Options > Delete files to delete the cache, wich is very likely to do whenever you're creating and developing a website.

Your boss?

I originally posted the websites details but edited them from the post once we went live because we are only a small business and we wanted get a true representation of the amount of traffic on the site.

My problem was to save you scrolling to the top of the screen was: I am using frames and when I go the site on my home pc In the main frame it shows our location page instead of the start-up page. I was wanting to know if you can write something into the code to ensure that the page refreshes the main frame each time the page is changed or the customer enters the site.

This does not happen on the other pc which I have tried it with.

So when you go to the site you go to the wrong page? are you clicking from a link in your favorites or what? Typing www.yoursite.com should always go to your default page...

I will doublecheck that tonight but if it something as stupid as that I will hit myself across the head just as hard as you would, if you were close enough to me.

I sincerely hope I am not that stupid, we shall see.

Guess what folks, as many would have already known I'm a dumb-ass.

When I checked the properties of my favourites link it said www.yoursite.com so I assumed it was going to the first page. Wrong.

When I added it to my favourites I myst have been on the location page but because of the frames I couldn't tell it had bookmarked the wrong page.

btw thanks for the help KC and I now have a sore head (at least I've stopped ripping clumps of hair out)
