BTW, the VS.NET Enterprise Architect is 7 (!) cd's... It took me 4 days with ADSL, but the server was slow..

Check out www.asp.net They have several "Starter Kits" I'm a fan of their Community Starter Kit. Most of the serious work being done to extend the Starter Kits, is being done in C#. C#.net costs about the same as VB.net. Borland has C#Builder for free - very similar to Visual Studion, and can integrate with VS VB.net.
Although I like VB.net, it appears as though the serious developer community leans towards C#.net for developing aps.net applications. That's certainly true in the corporate world here in the US.
