I just use the one built into win XP.

Does the job as well as any other firewall.

All they do is block ports, but block to many and you will strangle your Internet connection and bandwidth.

I use Norton Internet Security, but those damn messages keep crashing my games. That sux, the firewall is quite good.

I uninstalled Zonealarm and now my computer isn't crashing. I installed Sygate instead.

Borg, The windows firewall is unsafe. Microsoft issued an offical notices about it (Knowledge base)

I found this thread very enlightening.  I've used ZA and several other firewall that I've had the good sense to forget about and am now using sygate.  I'm very pleased with it performance.  ZA was causing all kinds of problems and Bull-guard sucked big time!!

At least ZA does something, i tested out armour2net it look real good (the gui) but it doesnt do anything.

Use sygate its the best.

Actually, the OS is fine. It's just all the nasty software running inside it
