Something wierd going on when I try to edit a users profile??  I'm the admin... Can go into the users profile... Soon as I click the text link 'Edit Profile' or any of the other text links it returns me to the forum index?

I had it reported before, but just thought they were being stupid so didn't follow it up? I have uploaded 8.02 and still get the same thing??Confused

Pleople who have not activated their accounts can not edit their forum settings till they do so.

When logged in as the admin you are able to edit accounts of people who have not edited their accounts, if you can't then it sounds like you may have a corrupted or modified file, try re-uploading the original files again.

I have just tested this again to make sure, as I often manualy activate new member accounts myself by editing the users profile if the new member has difficulty.

All the tests I did allowed both moderators and the forum admin to edit the profiles on accounts that are not active.

The only conclusion I can come up with is that you must either has a corrupted, modified file, or running a version of register.asp that is not from the latest version.

because they are new accounts it may not have the record for the garage and therefore it sends you away as its a EOF returned
