Ive now got this working with aspemail I only host the forum on mys ite as I dont have an ASP host to host it when the site gets more users ill move it to a asp enabled host

Hello,

I have been having the same problem.  Could you tell me how you eventually solved your problem.  I this my solution lies here...

 

Make sure that you have email activation enabled from the admin area.

Also many email accounts like Hotmail or if you are using a spam filter will see these types of emails sent from scripts as spam and reject them.

 

Please let me know if you know better.

i had this same error. I installed aspemail and sent the exact same message over using that component and it went through perfectly.
