your msg did not contain proper msg body or heading

and this is what i get

error '8004020f' /forum2/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 136

but when i press back i see the post i just did but is not the case with many of the users as their's some times posted and most of the times not, as this takes lots of time to post users are complaining alot....this is the line no 136 in functions_send_mail.asp

If NOT strOutgoingMailServer = "" Then .Send

can anyone help? how this line is relative to posts? or why the users are having that msg?

Email addresses are only shown to the forum admin, not regular members.

It sounds like the problem maybe in the amount of emails your web host allows to be relayed through their web server.

Contact the mail server admin and ask about any settings and procedures they have for sending email.

That wouldn't work as your syntax is incorrect.

Besides the outgoing mail server should already be entered into the online admin section, if this is the case the change you have described wouldn't make any difference.

If you are using a localhost pickup you could try changing the following line to 1for CDOSYS:-

'CDO Port
                    .Fields("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 1
