Error Microsoft JET Database Engine error

I uploaded my files, but get the following message:


Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'

Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

I DID chmod to rw-rw-rw, but other than that I can't figure out why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

please dont double post the same topic.

you need to make sure the database is within a folder that has read,write and modify permissions enabled wthin it.,

also make sure the database is not read only its self.

please also note this problem has been answered on here many times before and is also within the forum documentation

Thanks, I searched for it in the forum and found nothing, so I had to post the question. I will search again. I searched just by the error number and got zip.

I didn't remember the moderator would have to read before question was posted and did it twice. Sorry Embarrassed
