here in Norway we use SMS very frequently, and will probably do some
more years, but I think maybe MMS will take over for SMS the next
couple of years

I regulary use MMS and hardly ever SMS as most of my friends have
farily up to date phones. Anyway its getting a little off tpoic now, I
don't think he really wants to know how many of us use SMS.

MMS is much more expensive here than SMS
but dang, MMS and SMS notification would be a nice feature (of course,
only in selected forums/posts if someone wuld have to pay for it)

not one of my friends cares about mms even if they have it, barely use sms, if you got something to say, call.

Would SMS alerts on a discussion forum be a something for the future or a waste of time for a project as will be outdated quickly?
