Topic: Member Permission Posted: 20 April 2003 at 3:43am |
when i try giving the new function Member permission to a single member, nothing special appears ??
How is it working then -boRg- ?
When im giving a member this special access having right to all stuff, then the member is being denied to do any modstuff :(
I did give the member the status "Moderate this forum" but not rights allowed.
Is it a bug, or am i doing something wrong ?

Error: Object expocted

Even if you grant the user moderator rights in a forum you still need to give that user rights in that foruym to do thibgs like editing, deleting posts, etc. I have double checked this and it is woring as intended.

Could you give me more detail about this error like when does it occur and on what page.

The pop up error is just a javascipt error, just turn off script debugging in IE.
I have checked and doubled checked the permissions for individual members and still can't find a problem, you must be setting it up wrong.
