	Yes, in the email setup page in the admin area you can select to have the forum admin approve new members.

	In this context it means the same as 'approve' or 'checkout' I couldn't find this on Dictionary.com, but in my Oxford English Dictionary 'Vet' is used for Veterinarian, and in the UK to mean:- 'Investigate someone thoroughly to ensure they are suitable for the job' Edited by -boRg- - 13 May 2006 at 10:34am
