I'm having trouble when installing new webwiz forum.
i have a godaddy.com hosting plan with windows i did all the thing indicated on the guide but i retrieve this error:
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while executing SQL query on database.
Please check that the MySQL Server version is 4.1 or above.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_get_birthdays
File Name:- default.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.0.27-max-log]You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(tblAuthor.DOB) = 8 ORDER BY tblAuthor.Author_ID DESC' at line
what can i do to resolve this problem? please help me.

Godaddy run a very old version of mySQL that is not supported by web wiz forums.

This has been bought up a number of times and it seems that GoDaddy say that you have to upgrade to a dedicated server to get a newer version of mySQL.

From posts on this forum, GoDaddy seem to be one web host worth avoiding.
