Alright here is my situation.  I have a domain hosted with a forum that has been running for about 7 months.  www.ruthbarrformayor.com/forum

I bought a different domain name and using DNS I have used Web forwarding or cloaking to link to a sub-folder of the site I mentioned above.  The domain is www.hapeville.info  the physical path that this domain is cloaked/forwarded to is www.ruthbarrformayor.com/info  I want to link both domain names to the same forum at www.ruthbarrformayor.com/forum

If a user goes to www.hapeville.info it will not allow them to login, throws an error about cookies and such.  I searched and found the answer that the end users have to make a setting change to allow 3rd party cookies.  Is there a way to edit the security settings to make this happen without having the end users change their settings.  I envision editing the code to allow a specific domain the rights to pass like the original domain.  I am not a ASP programmer nor do I understand exactly how cookies work.

I have setup a test acct: User:testacct Pass: test

Hopefully someone can offer some suggestions.  Thanks in advance

This is a security feature of browsers so that other sites can not read cookies set by other domains. There is no work around for it.
