	When you create a new Topic if you have permissions to create an advent you can select an event date. Click the 'Help' icon at the top of your forum for help files on using the Calendar System.

	OK so it has to be in the new topic not in an ongoing discussion like training announcemnets each announcment would be a new topic.... OK but when I do that no info shows on the calendar? Edited by AKA Arizona - 06 April 2006 at 5:42pm

	Make sure you are setting the calendar event for the correct date. Also the calendar event will only display to those people with permissions to view that topic.
