Library not registered

I had a look at your forum and the line giving the error uses VB Script's Regular Expressions libary.

These came in back about 7 or 8 years ago with VB Script 5.5 and where installed with the OS from Windows 2000 onwards.

The fact that you get this error means that either you are using an old NT 4 server that seriously needs updating, or the server admin has disabled this library.

To install VB Script 5.5 with regular expressions on the server all you need to do is install IE 5+ on the web server.

Version 7 didn't use Regular Expressions, but for performance reasons version 8 does.

As Regular Expressions have been part of the OS since Win 2000, it seems very unlikely that people would still be using unpatched NT 4 servers. So it seemed a pretty safe bet using Regular Expression now that NT 4 was over 11 years old and not even support by Microsoft anymore, would be fine.

It could be that your web host for whatever strange reason has disabled Regular Expressions, if you are on an old NT 4 server, I would certainly look for a new host as NT 4 sucked as a web server as it always crashed.
