Seems the Firefox have beaten Microsoft to it.  Version 2 is out tomorrow.

IE7 - no not yet, week after next I think.

Oh I see, yes IE7 is out now, the automatic update is week after next.

Well I have not had the automatic updates and other websites say that Firefox is due tomorrow and IE is due later (Nov 1st if I remember correctly)

I always wait for the automatic update anyway.

Thought I have now heard else where that the browsers can be downloaded offically.

I'll still wait for the auto update.

Yup IE7 via Auto update is November first but the official release and time the download was available was Friday just gone.

The official FF 2.0 release isn't until the afternoon of October 24th, but there's downloads dated October 23 at ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0/
