Web Wiz are proud to announce the latest release of our award winning Web Wiz Forums software with the release 9.53 earlier today.

This latest version adds a number of new features as well as improvements.

Updates in version Web Wiz Forums 9.53 include:-

  • WYSIWYG Post Editor support for Apple Safari and Google Chrome
  • Improved support for authenticated mail servers
  • Improved SEO support with improvements made to the Dynamic Keywords and Descriptions
  • Image and file uploading support for Private Messaging
  • Improved YouTube support within the Post Editor
  • Updates to the XML HTTP API

Due to a corruption in some of the zip files for the 9.52 release the files have been repackaged and released as version 9.53.

If you experience issues with your 9.52 version please upgrade to this new release.

I installed 9.52 SQL SERVER with no apparent problems...is the problem very obvious...is my installation ok?

The issue seems to effect some installations and not others were characters are replaced with '<'

However, 953 also sorts out an image and file upload bug, so is worth upgrading.

I seem to be getting a big white block at the bottom of Active Topics, but not on every page load though...


It's as if it stops loading after the emotive-designs footer...any ideas?  My laptop is about to die before looking into it...

This is more likely a server issue, as at the moment your site seems to be OK

As stated at the top of this topic. If you have a support issue then you need to start a new topic on it and give as much detail as possible.
