admin access

Hi Bruce, maybe you can help me help with my problem. The people who own Restore Pontoon has set me up as an admin on their forum. admin functions correctly UNTIL I try to access the admin menu, then it won't accept my normal password and I just get the screen

The Username or Password entered is incorrect.
Please try again.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the way their website is setup, as I initially had this same problem on another website (webwiz as well) years ago, but the webadmin fixed it whatever the problem was.

I did finally talk the owner into upgrading to the latest version (we are on v9.54) and also to get newspad (I hope), even though I personally hate newspad from the old mass emailer as I only used it sparingly.  But for me the biggest problem is getting access to the main admin menu so I can do the work I was recruited to do. I can get into it fine using the owners username and password, but that's a pain if she happens to log in to view the forum.

Hopefully, she'll find out the problem as she's employed her brother's IT guy to help with the upgrades.

The Problem could be you can setup people and have them have Admin rights. But there should be only one Superuser Admin account unless they owner changed the whole funcationality of that Superuser and  Made just he General Admins be able to access the Admin Menus. They could have set up account that show that you are an Admin but not get you full access to the Forums Admins account.. you might want to look into that as well.
