Congrats. The Blazer was on my list of potential vehicles when I was shopping last year. a friend had a '95 or '96 and it was a killer ride.
I ended up buying a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 4 door truck. I really love it, plenty of power and a great reliable ride. The pic here is black, but mine is silver...both look great In my opinion.

Have fun off-roading (if you dare to scratch the paint) and fending of all of your friends that want you to help them move.

Heres the my new vehicle, well new to me in the last month, an '89 VW LT28 minibus (minus the seats and hand painted in NATO green tank paint). Well you can't expect to much for under £500. But it does like it's petrol with a 2.4 littre 6 cylinder petrol engine

I've got an 19 year old VW Polo as well (simpler to park in town than my minibus) I have to have sepperate insurance on each as you can't insure multiple vehicles on one insurance policy and most won't insure minibuses/vans on private insurance anyway so I pay over £600 a year on insurance.
For commercial insurance on a van which msot insurance companies will only do on vehicles of that size I was getting quotes of £1600 which is more than 3 times the amount the van is worth!!
I'm just glad I'm not under 25 my 21 year old brother has to pay £1300 a year 3rd party to insure an old clapped out 1.1 Vauxual Nova!!
