I have upgraded to windows 2003 server, but now the uploads won't work on any of upload components :(
Help please :)
when i click upload, a new window come, then click to browse.
then click upload, then after upload the little popupwindow turn into 500 internal server error

ok i found out, it must be a bug in the script, because the file is uploaded in the folder, but not add to the site, still got the annoying 500 internal error
|

This is weird, maybe more strict rules on IIS 6
I have turned all stuff on write, special permission and more
I have marked same fields in IIS 6 as i use to do in IIS 5 :(
There is something in IIS 6 i can't figure how to change Help please ?

Did you set the permission to allow IUSR to modify/write the uploads folder, and is iis set to use IUSR..?
If you've done all that then i'm sorry i can't help you...

Yes all permissions is turned on, i even tried to give them full control, but still same error ;(

Hmmm this is not good i guess :(
if i give the IUSR modify permission then it works 
is there any risk giving them that permission ???

yea, somebody with the right skills and tools can get access to your files and delete them...
If you had it working before then you had permissions to modify before.... the upload script makes a copy of the original and then delete it........ i haven't had the time to check it out in depth how it works but it's something like that...
