Topic: Problem with ASP Skript (Failure 80040e21 Posted: 17 September 2003 at 8:59am |
Hi!
I've got a problem with the forum. If i want to post a message, there are some things:
- on the Server the script-debugger starts and all scripts are blocked
- on the clientside a errormessage appears. I cant post this message, because i'm running an IE in german language, but i can tell you the error code: 80040e21. This is a database failure!
What can i do??? Please help me. It is important, that the Forum works tomorrow!!!!
thank you, Donald

I can give you the link, but if you try to post a message, then there is a asp-failure, and the HTTP Server gets down!

Your site allowed me to sign up and nothing more. Trying to post timed out and so did preview.
Sorry but I have no idea other than to blame your server since there are thousands of copies of WebWiz live on the internet.

As this is a database problem, it maybe worth trying to install the latest MDAC drivers on the server. You can get them from www.microsoft.com/data
