	Do you have any idea what kind of bandwidth it takes to run a WWF site - say 100 members posting a total of 500 messages per week?

	Thats like asking how long is a peice of string. Do a search this has been asked a number of times and people have given bandwidth that there forums use. Although each forum will be different depending on the amount of posts per page and how many topics per page you are showing, if your users are going to post short or long posts, Avatars size and what ones people use if any, what skin you use, what features you have enabled, if you allow people to upload files, avatars, etc.
