I have XP SP 1 and am trying to install IIS--but keeps looking for default.asp, query.asp  and I don't have those files on my XP cd.
 How can I install??

Thanks

The should be part of the iis install. Check in C:/inetpub/wwwroot

You also need xp-pro, not xp-home.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

It surely does not look for those files during installation does it? Those are default files that would be placed into the c:\inetpub\wwwroot directory.
