in the current version Sub forums are not available, but will be in V8.

to have pinned/important, you set the topic type (as admin) as a announcement topic.

and other are forum topics, and you can pinn topics to the top of that section.

hi,

to add an announcement/pinned topic, you have to be logged in as an administrator/ or forum moderator.

and when you click add thread (new thread), there is a drop down menu that says normal topic, sticky topic.

then under that within the list it has
announcement (this forum only)
announcement (all forums)

the last two are what you are pointing at.

V8 suggestions within the screenshot is a pinned/sticky topic
