group 1 cannot edit

This is really strange... user one who is a member of group 1 automatically can no longer edit posts. (I'm thinking it is due to one of the recent updates to the posts page)
 
I've gone in a rechecked the group permissions and even the database tables and I cannot see what's going on. I've been doing allot of traveling lately so I'm wondering if I missed an update that addresses this issue. (If it's in the forum already I'm sorry. I searched with little success.)

are you using V7.92 offical or manal upgrade (ie just the file)

either way, you wont be able to edit posts in the latest version , there is a hack  that can use the post_message.asp file to edit peoples posts, and for a quick block on the hole editing opf posts has been disabled unless you are the user i believe.

not sure on the last part.

ive given boRg a suggestion for the hole , but has not implimented it as yet maybe because of time to do so.

but that is why.

Thanks... I'm using v7.92 manual (but with WinMerge it's a good upgrade.) I kinda thought that was the issue. I'll be patient.
 
Interesting note... it seems to only affect the first post in the thread. Most interesting.
