Hi folks, just had a realy bad experience with mu usual hardware online retailer (Dabs.com) I have bought lots of stuff from them and never had a problem, now my last order was not delivered (usually 2/3 days) it is now 3 weeks since I order, and they don't have a telephone number and don't answer emails, I sent them 4 so far.

Luckily it was only a £30 order, but it could have been alot more, so I won't buy from them again.

I need to complain about this but don't know who to complaint to.

I now need to build a computer for my daughter, and need a new online retailer based in England, do you guys know a good reliable one, that has a telephone number and ALWAYS answer emails?

Their site must also be nice with lots of products, good search facility, and pictures and descriptions of all products, I'm not interested in the cheapest of the cheapest, but I value more a good online store website.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Yeah, Dabs used to be realy good, they used to have telephone number, and all, but it has been taken over by some entrepeneur woman, and she changed the whole thing, no phone number, all comunication is by email, but only from the help > mail system, (cs@dabs.com and sales@dabs.com) bounce back from the automated system telling you to use the help > mail forms, which don't work I guess, since no one answers.

So there you have it, I won't risk any more of my money or time with them, now it's time to find another good e-tailer, but this time I have to make sure it has a phone number so I can call them if there is problems.

Another matter is that I want to complaint about Dabs, I plan to get my £30 back and donate it elsewhere, where should I place my complaint?

Trading standards would be a good place to phone if they really have flunked you.  Make sure you've logged and have copies of all correspondance attempts you have made to Dabs.

Try ebuyer.co.uk. or microdirect.co.uk they seem to be pretty cool. I deal with both them and they always deliver on time etc for me

I'd agree with ebuyer.

Also worth giving www.scan.co.uk a look. Not had any problems with them except their P&P charge is a bit high if you're not ordering a lot of stuff.
