.lbd file in Database folder ?

Sometimes, I see a .lbd file in the folder where I keep my Database. (it is the same name as my DB but .lbd)

It doesn't seem to cause any problems but is it something I should be worried about, or is it normal. It just disappears on it's own.

This is quite normal.

It is Access lock file and is used by Access when reading or writing to the database to prevent errors, such as two users attempting to update the same piece of data at the same time.
