one thing that's been bugging me (ever since that Neverending thread thing ) is that the thread's creator can not moderate the thread. It makes since that the creator of the thread should be able to close the topic and modify/delete posts in that thread... just an idea

that would be very dumb to do. people would take advantage of that and it wouldn't make other members happy.

alright, i realize that the edit/delete posts would be stupid to allow... but what about closing your own thread?

Why? If a thread goes beyond where it began, it should be up to the moderator ot close it not the thread creator. If you allowed thread creators to close threads then threads could be closed as soon as someone disagreed with the thread creator.
