Wow i'm sure thats great work and an added bonus to some fora but at half the price of a webwiz forum lifetime license it does seem a bit steep.

£19.99, thats a lot of something you might make 10 times that if you are charging for subscribtions? Come on now... you could make that back in no time if your charging for subscribtions.

Wether the price is high or not depends upon how much your time to do it yourself is worth - then factor in the number of subscriptions you're not getting while you're creating it.
VBScript - Can the mod handle recurring subscriptions - e.g. monthly fees as opposed to a one-time fee?

The mod is now released for free to stop all the complaints from people who want everything for nothing. I thought it would be fair to ask for a bit in return seen has this can make a hell of a lot of money. Download: http://www.james-r.co.uk/wwfpaypalmod.asp

i personally felt you was right to charge for it. as your site said "due to the nature of the mod"
i dont think you should of given into the pressure as others will make quite a bit off your mod,
i mean most of the mods, for example some of the ones ive done, aint worth charging for as they're pritty basic, and easily done. but if you've put a lot of work into it, and as with this mod, the end user will end up makin money from it, its only right.
as other already said, they would get it back pritty quickly.
and i thought the "% will be donated to WWG" was a great idea.

Well, you could always make a basic version thats free, and keep working on a more advanced version with better features which you could sell to those people that are really interested in professional Script addons instead of a simple mod. |
Tell you what, I'll even step off from making a free version.
