For some reason, I lost the notepad on my computer. I think that it was accidentally deleted when I removed a virus. I have looked at the Microsoft's web site for a way to download a notepad back to my web site. But I cannot seem to find a link to download a notepad. Can someone please help me find a way to get the notepad back on my computer?

I lost notepad once.

There is another copy in either the C:\WINDOWS\System or C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder (look for notepad.exe)

u can get it out of the windows xp service pack.. first u need to extract it out and then search in extracted files for notepad.exe

and u will find it..

notepad.. aaah such a utility we cant lived without..one of the best things MS made..

Theres no need. notepad.exe will be in System or System32 folder

Textpad and UltraEdit are pretty good. Never use notepad.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
