Subject: Lost My Notepad

| For some reason, I lost the notepad on my computer. I think that it was accidentally deleted when I removed a virus. I have looked at the Microsoft's web site for a way to download a notepad back to my web site. But I cannot seem to find a link to download a notepad. Can someone please help me find a way to get the notepad back on my computer? |

I lost notepad once. There is another copy in either the C:\WINDOWS\System or C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder (look for notepad.exe) |

u can get it out of the windows xp service pack.. first u need to extract it out and then search in extracted files for notepad.exe and u will find it.. notepad.. aaah such a utility we cant lived without..one of the best things MS made.. ------------- http://www.web2messenger.com/theboss">

Textpad and UltraEdit are pretty good. Never use notepad. -------------
