8.01 to actual version

hi there,

i am long time user from your great apps! Thank you for this.

Now i'd like to upgrade vom 8.01 .

I have on my webserve the 8.01 running. I uploaded in a separate directory /forum2  the actual version and just changed the database config. But by accessing the new directory i am getting:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'

Invalid column name 'ID'.

/EM2008/Forum2/functions/functions_date_time_format.asp, line 60

I saw this problem mentoined in this forum only by upgrading from 7x to 8x. .

Are there changes in the database from 8.01 to 8.x ?

Can you give me an other hint/tip/information for
1.) checking up i have an actual database
2.) or what for other facts can be the problem.

Seems to be like you noticed. Too long ago i installed the forum. But in the footer "8.01" is showing up http://www.tipponline.ch/EM2008/Forum/default.asp . And i think 8.01 is only running with an actual database.... .

Strange ... OK forget it, i will check installing the compled version again incl. database.
