hi there,

i am long time user from your great apps! Thank you for this.

Now i'd like to upgrade vom 8.01 .

I have on my webserve the 8.01 running. I uploaded in a separate directory /forum2 the actual version and just changed the database config. But by accessing the new directory i am getting:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'

Invalid column name 'ID'.

/EM2008/Forum2/functions/functions_date_time_format.asp, line 60

I saw this problem mentoined in this forum only by upgrading from 7x to 8x. .

Are there changes in the database from 8.01 to 8.x ?

Can you give me an other hint/tip/information for
1.) checking up i have an actual database
2.) or what for other facts can be the problem.

There are no database changes from 8.0 to the present version.

Are you sure you are not running a non production server beta version?

Seems to be like you noticed. Too long ago i installed the forum. But in the footer "8.01" is showing up http://www.tipponline.ch/EM2008/Forum/default.asp - http://www.tipponline.ch/EM2008/Forum/default.asp . And i think 8.01 is only running with an actual database.... .

Strange ... OK forget it, i will check installing the compled version again incl. database.
